Tredington Primary School

Head's Welcome

Welcome to Tredington Primary School.

It gives me great pleasure to welcome you to the Tredington Primary School website. I am incredibly proud to be the Headteacher of this small village school where our children are at the heart of all learning. We are a strong, friendly and caring community; where all the adults in the school work closely together to create a feeling of warmth and safety as soon as you walk through the door. We hope you enjoy looking around our site and seeing what our school has to offer.

At Tredington Primary School, each child is treated as an individual, allowing opportunities for their particular talents and skills to flourish. We aim to prepare our children for future opportunities and challenges in order for them to achieve their personal potential. This is underpinned by our school NEST values: Nurture, Enrich & Succeed Together. We celebrate one another's successes weekly and work together to develop new skills and find new ways of thinking.

At Tredington Primary School, we provide teaching and learning that is stimulating, challenging and tailored to the needs of each individual child through our assessment-led and knowledge-rich curriculum. We want our pupils to be enquiring and inquisitive learners who are able to pursue their own interests, whilst receiving a high standard of education.  To achieve this, we offer a broad and balanced curriculum, both inside and outside the classroom.

Our school building is set in idyllic rural surroundings, with its own vast grounds which include our field, forest school area, sensory garden and forest school. We welcome pupils from a wide local area including Tewkesbury, Walton Cardiff, Stoke Orchard, Bishops Cleeve, Uckington and Elmstone Hardwicke; and pride ourselves on our close links with neighbouring communities and traditions.

We know a website can only tell you so much so I hope you will come and visit us to see for yourselves how much we have to offer. To arrange a visit and to embrace our open-door policy, call us on 01684 293617. I look forward to meeting you very soon!
